KSI vs. IShowSpeed refers to the December 15th boxing match between the two popular content creators. This fight, IShowSpeed's debut, would be the first fight for KSI since his loss to Tommy Fury on October 14th, 2023.

Background

Following his loss to Fury on October 14th, the content creator KSI confirmed that he was set to box against IShowSpeed on December 15th, 2023, with the event being streamed on Speed's YouTube channel. In the past, however, the idea of Speed and KSI boxing has been seen as a joke. On July 19th, 2022, the YouTuber bound2flop^[1] uploaded a short featuring IShowSpeed joking with KSI about the two of them boxing, with Speed showing him some of his moves (shown below).

Online Reactions

As news of the fight began to spread fans of Speed and KSI started to make TikToks talking about the fight. On December 3rd, 2023, the TikToker earlygamegg^[2] uploaded a TikTok talking about the fight from Speed's point of view, including some of his reactions and hyping himself up (shown below).

On December 7th, 2023, the X user @IfnBoxing^[3] re-uploaded footage of Speed practicing his boxing, with the response from KSI declaring that his upcoming fight would be harder than his loss against Tommy Fury, earning over 6,000 views in one day (shown below).
