Save Our NHS (also Hands Off Our NHS) is a viral campaign and debate with the aim of preventing the National Health Service (NHS) being privatised and sold off to the United States of America under President of the United States, Donald Trump.

The campaign began in June 2019 when the US Ambassador to the UK stated that any post-Brexit trade deal with the US had to include the NHS.

It further caused alarm during a press conference between President Donald Trump and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Theresa May when Trump was on a state visit where he stated that all things would be put on the table for a post-Brexit trade deal between the US and the UK.

Origin

Whilst appearing on The Andrew Marr Show on June 2nd, 2019, the US Ambassador to the United Kingdom Woody Johnson hinted that all things would need to be put on the table in order to secure a post Brexit trade deal between the US and the UK.
