The Max Gruber Fiasco of June 2011 was a series of events that occurred from the 17th of June (CrashBandiSpyro's 24 Hour Stream) to the 26th of June. The events shocked and applauded the community, with now all of the members permanently despising Max Gruber.

Danny's Stream

In this stream, Daniel Fishler, Rabidwombatjr and Angus R Dacey were supposedly insulting Americans. Max Gruber entered the stream and recorded an excerpt of speech where Daniel said "Max, your mother will burn soon enough". Max was gravely offended, subsequently rounding up his American friends and informing them of this behaviour by Daniel. After this, the Americans all began to hate Bandi once again as well as show some dislike to Angus who had also made some rude comments about Americans. Sometime after, (still during the stream) Max contacted Andrew Carroll amongst other people and told them that Daniel Fishler had a strong hate for all Americans and wanted to burn the United States flag.

After the Stream

After Daniel's stream, he was still very mad at Max. Other people were beginning to join Daniel's side of hating Max Gruber, including the Americans themselves. Max decided to add Angus to a conversation full of Americans in which they challenged him on his racist remarks. Angus then managed to persuade the Americans into believing that he didn't hate them. Max started to think (or realise) that most people in the community hated him for his stupid behaviour. Max uploaded a video to his channel "Mowmowclub2", asking what he should do with his channel, and wanted everyone's honest opinions. Many posted what they thought, with many people giving Max their brutally honest opinions. Most people suggested that Max should leave YouTube because of his lack-lustre videos. It can be assumed that this must have prompted him to start a new channel, named "LetsPlayKongregate (on the 21st of June). The channel instantly gained a few subscribers.

Self Hacking and Spamming

Sometime between the 21st and 23rd, Max made it look like someone had hacked the "Mowmowclub2" channel. In reality, Max had actually hacked it himself for attention (something he admitted on Friday night). People such as CabooseMiller101, RabidWombatJR, MrFraserfilms2009 and TheAFH013 all already had a suspicion that Max had hacked his own channel. The channel was made to look like Daniel Fishler had hacked it, as it was anti-American. Max said he was really upset about it on his Skype. His Skype status said "CHANNEL HACKED" at that time, another thing which he did for attention.

Suicide Attempt

After this, on the 23rd of June, Max decided that he wanted to kill himself, or at least make others believe that. Max called several people on Skype and said that had taken 500 anti-depressants, and he then said that he needed to go to the hospital to get his stomach pumped. On June the 24th, Max stabbed himself and then called a heap of people telling them that he had done it; however, many people seemed to not care. He told Andrew Conley that he was losing blood fast and had stabbed himself. Just before that, Max was indeed on webcam, stabbing himself with Angus R Dacey recording the horrific event. Mr. Conley was telling Max to stop, however he was ignoring him and sending him disturbing messages.
On Friday night, at around 5.00 PM ACST, Max began editing people's Skype messages in order to make it look as though people wanted him to kill himself, yet in reality, this is not what people wanted at all. At night, the major members of the community were in a large Skype call where they were talking about Gruber's suicide attempt. Al, Christian, Angus and other people were all saying how stupid he was. Someone added Max to the call, and Al instantly insulted Max. Angus, being a very well mannered individual, swore at Max. Christian, bizarrely, started to defend Max, which prompted Al to call Christan a "two-faced coward", to which Christian actually agreed. Max barely had a chance to say anything. He finally admitted that all of his "channel hacking" and spam towards him were all made up in a twisted sociopathic bid for attention. This finally turned Andrew Conley against Max, after Conley was one of the only people in the community to defend him in certain situations. After this, a 100 egg speedrun in Spyro 3 took place, in which Christian eventually relented and called Max an idiot to his face.

Luke's 12 Hour Stream

In Luke's 12 hour stream, he uploaded another video of him cutting himself. It was not up for very long. Andrew Conley was contacted by Max and was getting sent many suicidal, bullshit messages. Andrew finally cracked and basically told Max to piss off because he was doing all of this for attention. This prompted Max to upload another video of he cutting himself. Andrew contacted Al and told everyone in the stream. Eventually, Fraser notified Lancaster police via e-mail that their was a suicidal boy on the loose. It is unknown if the e-mail went through or if anything happened at all.
While the disturbing video of Max was still on the "Mowmowclub2" channel, Al recorded the video using Debut Video Capture. He was ready to e-mail Max's local police so that he could be found and taken to a psychiatric ward. Conley added Max to the call where he, Al and Andrew Carroll ripped on Max, telling him to stop being immature and disturbing. Alessandro then told Max that he would be sending the video to the police. Suddenly, Max got out of his suicidal mode and pleaded with Al to not send the video. Al said he would not send it, but if anything else happened, then the police would be contacted.

Aftermath

This was an incredibly serious incident and will never be forgotten. After Max pleeded for everyone to not send the stabbing video to the police, he basically disappered. His Skype description was "you can all FUCK OFF" for quite a while. He has tried to rejoin the community, but the vast majority of people have blocked him and the rest still hate him for causing serious, life threataning drama.
