Why are we not funding this is a saying originating on the show Family Guy. The meme shows the main protagonist Peter Griffin in front of a stem cell research facility. It is often used along with images of ridiculous objects, concepts or food items to suggest that said object is a good idea despite it's unplausability and that people would fund it.
