Gen-2 is an AI capable of generating videos from user input, not unlike ElevenLabs AI when it comes to voices, which it is often supplemented by in videos concerning it. A product of Runaway Research[1], it has slowly started to pick up media attention, as seen in sites like an article written in The Verge on the 20th of March 2023[2] and Gizmodo just two days later, on the 22nd[3].
Despite its abstract and experimental quality, it has already started to be used in various youtube works as seen in a number of videos[5][4]. As a relatively new and growing trend, it remains to be seen what its full usage will entail
