"Give Him To Me, Ugh" (sometimes stylized Give Him To Me Auhhh 😩) is a quote from the 2002 animated children's film Barbie as Rapunzel. The clip features a talking ferret named Otto saying the words "give him to me," followed by a suggestive moan after the line delivery. The clip gained widespread notoriety on platforms such as Tik Tok and YouTube, and has gained over 5 million views on Tik Tok alone in only a matter of weeks from its original posting.
Origin
In October of 2002, the Barbie film franchise released its second feature-length animated film, Barbie as Rapunzel (directed by Owen Hurley). In the notable scene, Mother Gothel holds a rabbit named Hobie by his ears and tells him that he is useless. Otto says to Gothel, "Give him to me," and then moans suggestively afterward.
Popularity
On February 15th, 2021, a user named ic3lad posted a Tik Tok featuring the clip. In the video, a woman asks, "What is one scene from a movie that makes you laugh un-ironically?" Immediately after, the scene from Barbie as Rapunzel plays, with the user chuckling in the background after Otto's moan.
The video was reposted on YouTube in a video titled give him to me auhhh 😩, reposted by zenobia. Shortly after, parodies started to be made of the clip; LizardFromAnother Gizzard did an EDM remix, while Kjell Henson took the original audio and reanimated it to resemble ahegao.
