Go White Boy Go is a TikTok dance trend started by TikToker @shoutouttowomen aka Telamod in early July 2023. The TikToker began doing the dance every day with the intention of making it go viral. Later that month, other TikTokers began performing the dance, making it go viral on the platform. The dance is often performed to a goofy ahh song remix by TikToker @proddadood.

Origin

On July 4th, 2023, TikToker^[1] @shoutouttowomen posted a video captioned, "Lost a bet to a friend. Now I gotta do this." In the video he does an exaggerated dance, garnering over 168,000 views in two weeks (shown below). The TikToker continued to do the dance every day, reaching day 17 on July 20th.

Later in the month, other TikTokers began doing the dance. On July 13th, 2023, TikToker^[2] @houstontruman posted a video doing the dance to a goofy ahh remix by TikToker^[3] @proddadood, garnering over 7.8 million views in a week (shown below, left). The next day, TikToker^[4] @shoutouttowomen posted a duet to the video, garnering over 3.5 million views in six days (shown below, right).

On July 17th, TikToker^[5] @johnspinaa posted a video doing the dance, garnering over 2.5 million views in three days (shown below, left). On July 18th, TikToker^[6] @minecrafter2011 posted a video doing the dance, garnering over 1.9 million views in two days (shown below, right).
