A lot of trolls starts spewing hate under godot posts 4. In response to raid there's panic mode and a lot of bans, some to people who dont troll 5. In following hours bans are disputed and cleared 6. Conservative influencers and activists continue the hate campaign Common lies: Lie: people are getting banned from GitHub for opinions and can't access the code anymore Truth: people are getting banned from posting new issues in GitHub. They got banned after spamming the issue board with offtop disrupting dev work. They still can read and access the code and newest godot versions. 5 people were banned from spamming issues as stated by the godot team member # about-twitter > Lie: but how the engine is open source if it bans people from discussions?
