Halo 4 Big Butts Dance was titled 'Halo 4 Trailer (leaked gameplay footage)'. The video depicts around 14 seconds of what appears to be realistic Halo footage. This quickly turns into a fast paced disco dance scene showing the Spartan super soldiers 'shaking that ass' and 'breaking it down'.
According to the creator the rendering was done in Cryengine 3 and uses real Halo Reach assets. It appears the dancing animations are from the game Crysis 2, a first person shooter released in 2011.
Spread
The video quickly spread through the halo community, with a lot of people commenting on how they were fooled by the first few seconds. The video has been mirrored and viewed hundreds of thousands of times across youtube, facebook and the various halo fan-sites.

According to the creators comments he works for a games company and made the video for fun.
This isn't the first time Halo's spartan super soldiers have urge to break it down. In an april foolds video from 343 industries the Spartans parody dance central.
