About
'Help Me Find Sarah' Brunch Gossip TikTok refers to online discussions about a video originally posted by TikToker @kelliekelshow, where she "exposes" a group of friends for gossiping about someone named Sarah for "having her coochie out" and dressing "sleazy." @kelliekelshow posted the video to TikTok with the caption "Help Me Find Sarah" to tell her about her friends gossiping about her, with internet users being split between those who thought @kelliekelshow's TikTok was warranted and those who thought the internet encroaching on an intimate gossip was unnecessary. The Sarah in question was eventually found, and she asked the TikToker to abstain from talking about her or her friends, and that she was made uncomfortable by the attention drawn to her.
Origin
In a now-deleted TikTok[1] video originally posted before September 18th, TikToker @kelliekelshow posted a video showing a group of women supposedly gossiping at a restaurant over brunch. @kelliekelshow talked about how the group was bad-mouthing someone named Sarah and proceeded to ask for help to find Sarah so she could know her friends were gossiping about her.
The video was reposted to X[2] by user @deep_dab, where it gathered over 15 million views and 14,000 likes in three days (seen below).

Spread
Initial reactions to the video were positive, with various TikTokers joining @kelliekelshow in sharing the video and urging people to help them find Sarah.[3][4] Some X users expressed discomfort at the idea of a private conversation being shared with millions on the internet.
X[5] user @itszaeok quoted the video with the caption, "i feel there is nothing more sacred than a nasty gossipy brunch and to be recorded in such a vulnerable time is ruining traditions," gathering over 70,000 likes in a day (seen below, left). X[6] user @cursedhive quoted the clip as well, saying "the war on gossip is getting out of hand. this is literally the salem witch trials for messy people," gathering over 10,000 likes in a day (seen below, right).
@Kelliekelshow eventually found the Sarah in question, and received a message from her asking for @kelliekelshow's videos to be deleted, as she felt uncomfortable with the attention being drawn to her work profiles online. This interaction can be seen in a post made by X[7] user @bimboyugari, gathering over 34,000 likes on the initial post in the thread (seen below).
