@evie.magazine "Home Alone" grocery prices show how much times have changed. Kevin McCallister went to the grocery store in the 1990s and spent $20. This year, that same trip would have cost him over $70. Let's compare these prices. Kevin's grocery list cost $44.40 last year. In 2023, that same haul would have cost $72.28 – a 250% increase since the iconic scene. #homealone #christmas2023 #financialcrisis #creditcarddebt #usdebt #usgoverment #groceryshopping #inflation #inflationcrisis #inflation2023 #homealonemovie #homealone2 ♬ original sound – Evie Girl Shop
