About

I Am A Very Good Bad Boy or "It's My Life What Ever I Wanna Do" refers to a 2012 song by Indian singer Vennu Mallesh. It went viral after being uploaded to YouTube that year after listeners found it cringeworthy, funny and an example of content that's "so bad it's good." Common criticisms include the lyrics not making sense and sounding like broken English, among other things. The audio saw increased popularity in 2021 after clips of it began going viral on the platform.

Origin

On July 27th, 2012, Indian pop singer Vennu Mallesh uploaded his song "It's My Life What Ever I Wanna Do" to YouTube,[1] gaining over 25 million views in nine years (shown below). The music video shows Mallesh recording the song in a studio along with two producers and a female, Lipsika, who interjects occasionally with questions toward Mallesh. The song begins with her asking, "Hey, are you going to sing?" to which Mallesh responds, "Yeah, but it's not a song, it's my life," denoting the personal nature of the upcoming lyrics. The lyrics deal with how people misunderstand Mallesh and consist of Mallesh singing about his personal traits.
