"I control the Breeze vote" is a phrase used to state when you are so confident in something going your way, and that you're the person behind it, that you state it outloud for the world to hear. It then turns around and completely backfires, and turns out to be the exact opposite of what you predicted, and you make yourself look like a utter fool doing this.

This meme started on July 21, 2023, on a discord server Puppetvivor 21: Dungeons and Dragons. In the first post merge elimination of the season, a vote cast for a contestant, Breeze saying "Brezze. I hope you lose. I control the Breeze vote. IDK if I control the next one." What happened instead was that Uman, a contestant who had been very inactive since the merge, was voted out in a 9-1 vote, and became the first member of the jury to decide the winner of the season.

Nearly 3 weeks later, on August 9, 2023, Breeze had found himself as a finalist of the season, alongside Morgan and Fantasy. During Final Tribal Council, Fantasy never posted once to defend themselves, effectively making the season a final 2 between Breeze and Morgan. At the end of the season, this parchment had a spiritual successor as Trap, the third member of the jury cast his vote for Breeze saying "Brezze: I control the Brezze vote". This turned out to be as far from the truth as possible, as he was the only jury member to cast a vote for Breeze to win, tying with Fantasy, who (somehow) also earned a vote, and losing to Morgan, who won the title of being the 21st Puppetvivor with the other 5 jury votes despite initially being the third place finisher at the start of Final Tribal Council.
