On July 20 2018, social activist and former substitute teacher Mike Stuchbery posted an image of a Spartan Lambda and warned his follows that it is the logo of the Identitarian Movement, advising that it should be treated in like manner that one would a swastika.
Other twitter users noted the similarity of the logo to the logos for Half Life and Blizzard's team-shooter game Overwatch, and poked fun at the alarmist messaging of the post.
