Indian Robert Pattinson refers to a recreation of the Robert Pattinson modeling meme that grew popular in Indian internet circles in May 2023. The video was originally posted by Bangladeshi Instagram creator @taspajn, and shows him posing in a set similar to Pattinson's campaign video. Memes using the video show shots of Pattinson and Tasfin side by side, with each side given a caption in a format that resembles "We have food at home" memes.

Origin

On November 13th, 2022, the official YouTube[1] account for the fashion label Christian Dior posted a video featuring actor Robert Pattinson modeling for their Spring 2023 Men's collection, gathering over 1.5 million views in five months (seen below).



On April 30th, 2023, Instagram[2] creator Tasfin Ayman Drubo (@taspajn) posted a video showing himself remaking the trend, gathering over 500 likes in a month (seen below).



On May 2nd, Twitter[3] user @Villain_773 posted the earliest known version of the meme that showed both of the aforementioned videos side-by-side (seen below). The post gathered over 27,000 views and 1,000 likes in three weeks (seen below).

On May 5th, 2023 Twitter[4] account @InMemeTemplates posted a template for the meme. On May 10th, Redditor /u/ Fun-Pumpkin526 posted a version of the meme to the Reddit[5] community /r/SaimanSays, gathering over 1,700 likes in two weeks (seen below).
