Injured? Billboard is an image edit series featuring a billboard featuring an advertisement for the law firm of Cellino & Barnes in which the two respective lawyers' headshots underneath appear under the word "Injured?"

Origin

The image is based on advertisements from the law firm of Cellino & Barnes. These advertisments generally feature the headshots of the lawyers Ross Cellino Jr. and Stephen Barnes underneath the word "Injured?" and the firm's contact information (example below).

On August 27th, 2017, Tumblr ^[1] user personable posted the earliest known version of the image. They added the caption, "gets my arm bitten off by a wolverine in the canadian wilderness and this billboard instantly teleports to my location, silently mocking me as i bleed to death." Within three years, the post received more than 54,000 notes (shown below).

Spread

Weeks later, on September 10th, Instagram ^[2] user @highfiveexpert posted the image with the phrase "Good luck you injured piece of shit" written on the bill board. They captioned the image "When you flunk out of law school but saved enough for advertising." The post received more than 24,000 likes in less than two years (shown below, left). Weeks later, the variation appeared on the /r/TooMeIrlForMeIrl^[3] subreddit, where it received more than 11,000 points (95% upvoted) in less than three years.

Months later, on December 6th, Tumblr^[4] user younggenji posted an image edit variation of the Billboard. They added the caption, "when you run out of healing juice & your team spams ‘need healing.’" The post received more than 14,000 notes in less than three years (shown below, center).

On March 12th, 2018, Tumblr^[5] zenyaytta shared the image with just the word "Good" on the billboard under the word "Injured?" The post received more than 6,100 notes in less than two years (shown below, right).
