Originally, kuk is the name of the keygen chiptune song made by Ogge in 2010. Later, Lz0 ripped off the song and re-named it in Malwarebytes Anti-Malwarekg. The song is now known with two different names. The song became a popular musical source for YouTube Poop Music Videos in 2011.

The first YTPMV fad has been started by YouTube user "tomgoodmen" and it was uploaded on May 21st, 2011 as the second round of a YTPMV Soccer against "TheGentlePipe", but it already ended up with round 2 and "tomgoodmen" won.
