Metapod is a Pokemon from the popular serie Pokemon. It is an bug-cocoon like creature that basicly has no abilities , other then Harden which sharply raises his defenses ,making it an hard to train Pokemon. A Caterpie turns into a Metapod at level 7 and will remains so until Level 10 ,which causes it to transform into an Butterfly like creature called the Butterfree. Because of not having any damaging abilities its potentionely useless for battles ,except for wasting lots of time. Because of this trainers often dispose of it or dont take it in battles.
