My Highest Note refers to a viral video posted by Ivan Dorin in which he makes a high-pitched squeaking noise, evidently the highest-pitched sound his voice can produce. The clip has been remixed several times in parodies on YouTube.

Origin

On April 15th, 2013, YouTuber Ivan Dorin posted a video of himself hitting what was then the highest note he could achieve with his voice. The video gained over 3.4 million views (shown below). He has since hit two higher notes. Dorin has over 40,000 subscribers on YouTube.^[1]

Spread

The video inspired parodies on YouTube, as YouTubers remixed his video with other clips. For example, on November 23rd, 2015, YouTuber CAStration posted a Content Aware Scale remix of the clip, gaining over 779,000 views (shown below, left). On April 9th, 2018, YouTuber Teen Draw posted a video that remixed the clip into various popular movie screams, gaining over 179,000 views (shown below, right.).

Other, similar videos featuring Dorin have also led to remixes. For example, YouTuber normie twice removed made a similar remix video using a Dorin clip and putting it in Iron Man (shown below, left). On July 9th, 2017, Spicy Boyz made a video that compared the singing to the sound in video games made when going into night vision, gaining over 750,000 views (shown below, right).
