No Need to Thank Me is a reaction image of character Zapp Brannigan from the animated series Futurama putting his hands up and saying "no need to thank me." The image which became popular in January 2020, is typically used in reaction to a situation in which someone's help is not actually appreciated.
Origin
On June 23rd, 2011, the 20th episode of season six of Futurama "Neutopia" aired.[1] During the episode, Zapp Brannigan says "no need to thank me." On December 31st, 2019, Redditor RegularNoodles posted the image in reaction to the Onion news story "Boy Scouts Volunteering To Help Women With Breast Exams" to r/dankmemes.[2] The image gained over 31,700 points (98% upvoted) in 17 days.

On December 31st, 2019, Redditor Dahooligan559 posted the reaction image to a conversation about selling Netflix accounts to r/dankmemes[3] (shown below, left). The post garnered over 54,000 points (97% upvoted) in 17 days. On January 16th, 2020, Redditor posted an the image with the caption, "Genie: You have three wishes. Me: I don't want to die a virgin. Genie: Makes me immortal Genie:" to r/dankmemes[4] (shown below, right). The post gained 35,300 points (96 % upvoted) in a day.
