About

Nothing's Changed is an exploitable webcomic in which a person makes a wish to a genie. The genie then grants the wish, though the main character thinks "nothing's changed." In the exploitables, what is wished for and what the genie says are altered.

Origin

On July 30th, 2018, Tumblr user c2oh^[1] posted several variations on the comic, which is their original creation, gaining over 192,000 notes (examples shown below).

Spread

The day the original comics were posted, other internet users turned the comic into an exploitable, usually using the "worthy of love" comic as the template. For example, a post on /r/2meirl4meirl gained over 280 points (shown below, left). The following day, a user in /r/dankmemes used the template to create a pee is stored in the balls joke, gaining 8,800 points (shown below, right).

The template also took off in the /r/anime community. Some variations referencing anime include a post by Twitter user @itanimeirl gaining over 65 retweets (shown below, left). A Jojo's Bizarre Adventure reference posted to /r/anime gained over 80 points (shown below, right).
