Obamacore is a slang term that has mainly been used to describe "conscious" music, films and other media, and more specifically those produced by Black artists in the mid-to-late 2010s, the final period of Barack Obama's presidency and the years immediately after it. Liberal sociopolitical message, appeal to mass audience, and initial acclaim followed by a more measured reappraisal are common traits of works that have been characterized as Obamacore. Generally agreed upon examples include Kedrick Lamar's album To Pimp a Butterfly, Jordan Peele's horror film Get Out and Lin-Manuel Miranda's musical Hamilton.

The term has also been used to describe the general cultural output of Barack Obama's presidency period in the United Sates, including films, television shows, music and memes.
