Bacon_ is a YouTuber known for posting short no-commentary clips from video games, mainly from Bethesda role-playing games, in which characters act or speak in bizarre, unexpected ways due to bugs or inconsistencies in writing and scripting.

Online History

On January 20th, 2018, YouTuber[1] Bacon_ (originally ArchD n' Bacon_) launched his channel. On January 23rd, 2018, Bacon_ uploaded[2] his first video, a clip of a bizarre conversation between two NPCs voiced by the same actor in the 2006 role-playing video game The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The video (shown below) accumulated over 2.4 million views in six years.



On the same day, Bacon_ uploaded nine clips of bizarre in-game interactions from Oblivion, Fallout: New Vegas, Resistance and Liberation and other games, several of which garnered over one million views in five years.

In the following years, Bacon_ continued to post clips of weird dialogue and gameplay from games, mainly from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and other role-playing video games developed and published by Bethesda. On February 22nd and October 25th, 2018, Bacon_ posted[3][4] his two most-viewed clips as of 2023, titled "Your money or your life" and "Bye!" which received over 17 million vies and 7.9 million views in six and five years, respectively (shown below, left and right).



On November 20th, 2018, the channel reached 100,000 subscribers.[5] As of October 22nd, 2023, Bacon_ had over 416,000 subscribers on YouTube.
