Sometimes, you visit this site and have your hour slightly dampened because oh lordy, another political controversy, someone from that one side of politics did something.
Sometimes, you visit this site, and groan because the trend of the day is some forced hashtag a twitter user famous for nothing pushed it on his followers, and which will be gone in three or four days.
Sometimes, you visit this site, and find that somehow Tumblr has managed to create a word even worse than the last, with even less possible uses than the previous abomination of language.

And sometimes, you visit this site, and get little gifts like these, where a man has gained some fame for showing off his new hat without a care in the world.
Sometimes, the net's not so terrible.
