Emil O. W. Kirkegaard

Emil O. W. Kirkegaard is a controversial Danish blogger who became infamous in 2016 for leaking data of 70,000 OkCupid members without their permission, including their personal sexual preferences. Post-2016 Kirkegaard has been embroiled in numerous other controversies such as internet feuds, harassment and litigation; he filed a libel suit after he was called a pedophile on Twitter but lost the case and has been ordered to pay the defendant, £36,000 in legal costs.

Kirkegaard has attracted criticism for his distasteful writings on child porn, pedophilia and incest. In 2012, he left comments on Rick Falkvinge's blog, claiming he is sympathetic to legalising child porn and favours reducing age of consent to 13 year olds or younger, describing age of consent a fiction:

For ‘age of consent’-fiction (people can consent at any age, even babies consent and disconsent to stuff happening to them!), perhaps a dual approach. Either 13 years old or start of puberty, whichever comes first.

In 2008, Kirkegaard wrote a blog post claiming he wants to legalise incest:

In my fight against the Danish sexual morality, the time has come for incest. Incest has traditionally been banned almost universally, except for ancient Egypt. In the case of law, everything that is not illegal is legal, because therefore one cannot make an argument from ignorance. I can therefore just ask, why is incest prohibited? And if no good reason can be given, then incest should be legalized.
