About

JewWario was the online handle of YouTuber Justin Carmical, known for producing various web series published on That Guy With the Glasses (TGWTG). Carmical committed suicide in January 2014 via a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

History

On August 30th, 2007, Carmical uploaded the first video to his JewWario channel, featuring footage of a person playing a Pop'n-Mania controller (shown below).

Years later, Carmical launched the You Can Play This web series in which he taught viewers how to import various international video games (shown below).

Death

On January 23rd, 2014, Carmical committed suicide via a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.^[5]

Sexual Misconduct Accusations

On April 12th, 2018, Twitter user @TheyCallMeTXT^[4] tweeted "I tried to tell #ChangeTheChannel about Justin being a potential predator WEEKS AGO, and you wouldn’t believe me. Now, CA essentially proved me right," referring to allegations made in the #ChangeTheChannel "Not So Awesome" document.

That day, Redditor ZorakLocust submitted a post titled "What’s all this about JewWario now?" to /r/ChannelAwesome,^[2] where Redditor throawayimscared responded that Carmical had sexually assaulted her while she was unconscious after denying his advances. Meanwhile, a thread titled "A reflection on JewWario" was submitted to the Channel Awesome Forums.^[3]
