About

Jonne is a Finnish name that has took another meaning as an insult for typical teenage and preteenage kids who swear excessively, drink energy drinks and do stupid things out of peer pressure and try to act "cool".
This meme has enjoyed so widespread usage, it has snuck its way into finnish slang as a common insult for stereotypical teenagers.

Origin

The history of this meme comes from a thread supposedly made at Kuvalauta, where an anonymous claimed to have found out why the standards of the place were so low, compared to times before, what are almost seen as the Eden among Finnish image board users.
While chatting on a particular IRC-channel he found out that all of the moderators at Kuvalauta and even most of the users were actually diligent users of a Finnish gaming related site called Jonneweb. Jonneweb was infamous for having a mostly underage userbase, which reflected too in the initial rush of Jonneweb users to Kuvalauta, similar to the concept of Summerfags.
This rush of underage people began when Jonneweb released a news statement which read: "Jonneweb and Kuvalauta are embarking co-operation. Kuvalauta.fi is a "gentlemen's art picture site", whose main topics are fish and bears (in reference to another Finnish memes "Kahen kilon siika" (a two kilogram whitefish) and Spurdo Spärde, a derivative of the pedobear). A very special thanks goes to the user Anonymous, who has diligently spread the information of Jonneweb."
