Life and Scars, also known as @lifeandscarz, is a male TikToker, Instagram user and streamer from Fargo, North Dakota, who posts overtly horny and controversial “how to” videos that give dating advice and relationship advice. His catchphrase "Game Is Game" has earned him the nickname the Game Is Game Guy. His videos have gone viral across platforms due to his "to the point" intros that bluntly lay out the video's topic. Notable examples include "How to talk to emo and goth bitches" and "How to do the hamburger with your dick and your balls," among others. Other than his own videos going viral, many have screen-recorded themselves scrolling through his videos, outlining the humorous consistency of his delivery. Others have integrated his TikToks into Corecore and NicheTok edits. He started posting videos in late 2022. His TikTok account @lifeandscars was banned in January 2023, causing him to post primarily on his Instagram and Twitter accounts with the username @lifeandscarz thereafter. In April 2024, Life and Scars was arrested for domestic violence and his mughsot went viral.

On September 21st, 2022, TikToker^[1] lifeandscars uploaded his first video in which he talked about his self-proclaimed "number one date idea." Over the course of three months, the video received roughly 335,200 plays and 44,200 likes but has since been removed due to Life and Scars' original account, @lifeandscars, being deleted in early January 2023. On October 9th, 2022, TikToker^[2] lifeandscars posted his first video to receive over one million plays, earning roughly 2.5 million plays and 489,200 likes in two months. In the video, he gave men advice on how to wash their butts before going out on a date (also since deleted).

On September 26th, 2022, lifeandscars started posting to Instagram^[3] under the username @lifeandscarz. He began reposting his TikTok videos as Instagram Reels thereafter with his first Reel^[4] uploaded on September 27th, 2022, earning roughly 1,200 likes in five months (shown below).

His videos then received attention on other platforms too. For instance, on October 18th, 2022, Twitter ^[5] user theloosieman tweeted a screen-recording of them scrolling through his videos, captioning them, "Found an interesting TikTok account," and gaining roughly 4.4 million views and 129,600 likes in two months (shown below).

Similar videos were posted to TikTok^[6] and Instagram^[7] in November and December 2022. For instance, on December 1st, 2022, the Instagram^[7] page rigpyy uploaded a carousel post of multiple Life and Scars videos, writing in the description, "Bro hooking us up with that illegal rizz 💀💀." The post received roughly 44,800 likes in 19 days (shown below).

TikTok Ban and Move To Twitter

In January 2023, Life and Scars' initial TikTok account, @lifeandscars, was banned from the platform. As evidence, on January 5th, 2023, TikToker^[15] @hydroebinxd posted a video with a restrained Jesse from Breaking Bad that portrayed anger over Life and Scars' deletion, earning roughly 7,600 plays in one month (shown below).

Life and Scars moved his online presence to Instagram and Twitter^[13] under the username @lifeandscarz. He started gaining traction on Twitter in early 2023, such as a video he posted to Twitter^[14] on February 11th, 2023, on "How to fuck yo cousin," which gained roughly 176,400 views and 5,400 likes in four days (shown below).
