About Mastadon

Bascially, Mastadon is a Dubstep musical artist from Australia who is 16 years old. He has been producing music ever since 2013. However back then he used to go by the name "Elephant Man". His first song was 'Dog Ate My Subwoofer' which was uploaded to Trill Network on November 27th. He continued to release music up until 2015 when he released his final song 'ME BREKFAZT!!!' in early October. This would be his last song under the name Elephant Man. In December, under the name Mastadon, he released his first track Warlords which quickly spread and gathered popularity, In 2017 he released a remix of Trampa X SKisM – Black Hole which he claims to be his first song written as Mastadon.

When/How it happened

'Mastadon is gay' has become a running joke on The Dub Rebellion and Mastadons' channel. On the 24th of Feburary 2017, when Mastdadon released his Danger track on The Dub Rebellion. A commenter called 'TheFlakzz' commented saying:

Fans of Mastadon quickly spammed his comment thread with hate until Mastadon responded to this comment saying "oi calm down flakzz is a good friend of mine hahaha" After which, people began to comment "Mastadon is gay" on more of his tracks. When The Dub Rebellion released their 200,000 subscriber Mastadon Mix on the 27th of January 2017 (a month before the release of Danger), Darek, The Dub Rebellion's creator, put "To celebrate the 200,000 subscribers, I have invited Mastadon to do a mix for the channel! Thank you for the love and dedication over the years! Love you – Darek" After Danger's release people went back to this and began commenting about Mastadon's relationship with Darek. On The Dub Rebellion's release of SKisM X Trampa – Black Hole (Mastadon Remix), TheFlakzz left a comment saying "Mastadon is still gay." In which a person known as 'donny' replied with:

"its true, the main synth is actually mastadon screaming coz darek is fingering his ass"
