Montes Jones is a notable Facebook user most known for his photo captions that are clever but often NSFW puns. Some of his most notable are, "Dick circumcised but I still got that cheese 🧀💯" and "Call me Pubes the way I'm above you dickheads 🍆," among others. Screenshots of his posts were reposted to various platforms like Instagram and Twitter starting in late 2021. In his selfies, he's often seen wearing designer clothing brands like Vlone or Dior and flexing on his haters using hypebeast aesthetics.

Online History

Montes Jones has been active on Facebook^[1] since 2016, however, since going viral in late 2021, he's deleted the bulk of his content. However, he also has active accounts on Twitter,^[2] Instagram^[3] and TikTok ^[4] all under the moniker @almightyturd. His Facebook is the presence with the largest following though, having amassed roughly 4,900 friends in six years.

It is unknown when Jones started posting Facebook photos with his infamous captions but the majority of the screenshotted reposts date back to 2020. He became notable in memes through reposts of his Facebook starting in October 2021. On October 28th, 2021, the Instagram^[5] page b3n1s uploaded a carousel post that featured nine screenshots of Jones' funniest Facebook posts. Over the course of eight months, b3n1s' post received roughly 20,600 likes (first four images shown below).

After b3n1s' Instagram post, multiple internet users posted the screenshots across social media. For instance, on November 11th, 2021, the photos were reposted to /r/playboicarti^[6] by Redditor FlyUzi who earned roughly 4,300 upvotes in seven months.

On November 3rd, 2021, TikToker^[7] plugbaby2k posted a video featuring a Montes Jones meme, earning roughly 306,500 plays and 35,600 likes in seven months (shown below, left). On November 10th, 2021, TikToker^[8] pinealswisher posted a video with a Montes Jones meme that received roughly 24,700 plays and 2,500 likes in seven months (shown below, right).

Jones' virality continued to snowball going into early 2022. On March 19th, 2022, Twitter^[9] user 9100nato posted a reply to a since-deleted tweet that added to a thread of Montes Jones screenshots, earning roughly 16,800 likes in three months (shown below, left). Again on March 19th, Twitter^[10] user lipeefw added to the thread with another image, earning roughly 10,900 likes in three months (shown below, right).

The aforementioned Twitter thread resurfaced interest in Montes Jones once again, bringing the conversation back to platforms like TikTok. For instance, on March 31st, 2022, TikToker^[11] _sincerexo posted a green-screen reaction in front of a Montes Jones Facebook post, earning roughly 2.1 million plays and 369,800 likes in three months (shown below).
