About
Prolly Not refers to jokes and memes made in reference to a viral video on TikTok by user @sethshyrock in July 2022 in which he acts out an interaction between a distraught boyfriend and a doctor. The TikToker can be seen asking about the well-being of his girlfriend and asking if she's going to "make it," to which the doctor responds with "prolly not," with @sethshyrock then promptly breaking into the Taylor Swift song "Don't Blame Me." The TikToker's decision to give the doctor such a casual cadence led to other users making jokes about the kind of doctor that might say "prolly not" when asking about a patient.
