RuneScape is a fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) released in January 2001 by Andrew and Paul Gower, and developed by Jagex Ltd. It is a graphical browser game implemented on the client-side in Java, and incorporates 3D rendering. The game has approximately 10 million active accounts, over 130 million registered accounts, and is recognised by the Guinness World Records as the world's most popular free MMORPG.
With any other traditional addictive MMORPGs, there have been talks of nerds and "no-lifers" in the game. Which, only resulted in the following:
Some tend to step out the closet in hopes to lessen the shame, only to be ridiculed even further.
The in-game aspects of Runescape or "Run-Escape" as it was called by normal people have been juxtaposed to real life to demonstrate how stupid the game really is.
An Example of such juxtaposition:

Runescape also has its own stock market.

Runescape is known for its terrible economy system.
Runescape Economy in a nutshell, or should I say Ruinscape.
There are many facets of juxtapositions, as many as there are identifiable in the game.
Most facets include skills you can level up (attack, smithing, firemaking, woodcutting, crafting, etc)
Following is a video of a guy trying to sell a rare item in runescape, except he's in real life:
More and more coins enter the game every second, while these items have a finite number in game, which causes MEGA INFLATION when trying to purchase such items.

Another example of Runescape video, incorporated into a movie clip:
These are common.
Due to irl noobs complaining for no reason that this is not a meme, another video:
