Selena Green Vargas Cheated On Military Boyfriend refers to the rumored story behind a viral image of adult film star Selena Green Vargas standing with a U.S. Army soldier, purportedly her boyfriend at the time. The photo was posted to 4chan in 2015. Shortly after it was posted, 4chan users discovered the girl's identity and videos for the controversial pornography company GirlsDoPorn, including a video in which she was wearing the same outfit as in the photo with her boyfriend, inspiring accusations of cheating and memes about Vargas cheating on her boyfriend. The meme continued to spread throughout the 2010s and 2020s, mostly through an image macro showing the original photo next to one of Vargas' adult video thumbnails.

Origin

Around January 26th, 2015, adult video studio GirlsDoPorn released a video featuring actress Selena Green Vargas having sex with a man. In the video, she is first seen sitting on a bed wearing a black long-sleeve T-shirt and skinny jeans. That day, a GIF of the video was posted to the /r/NSFW_GIF^[1] subreddit, but it has since been deleted.

Later that day, Redditor^[2] u/MessyRoom posted a comment claiming that a photo of Vargas with her military boyfriend was posted on 4chan's /b/ board at a prior date, and she was exposed for cheating on him. The comment reads:

There's a story that goes with this video. I haven't seen it mentioned here before so I'm guessing not many people know about her.

A few months ago I was on /b/ and someone had posted they had found a friend's girl on a porn site but wanted to make sure it was really her and needed the whole video to confirm. Video gets linked, guy sees the video and posts it IS her, not only that but she was visiting her army/navy boyfriend near where the porn studio was so OP links pics of her Facebook with her making out and being all lovey dovey with her boyfriend wearing the exact same clothes she wears in the sex video, and /b/ being /b/ finds both of their Twitter and Facebook accounts and links the video to her and his family and friends, chaos ensued. Good times.

She went from early in the day being with her man, kissing and possibly he wanting to fuck since they hadn't seen each other in a while and her denying him sex, to later on her getting absolutely plowed by a total stranger.

He broke up with her and she didn't seem to care about what had happened, she was actually mad people outed her.

On August 18th, 2015, an Imgur^[3] user uploaded screenshots of a thread sharing the photo of Vargas and her boyfriend, which was posted to the /r/4chan^[4] subreddit that day, to over 1,100 upvotes in 10 years.

This thread, however, seems to be a recreation of the original, as it is timestamped as beginning the day it was posted to Imgur, whereas Redditor u/MessyRoom claims the original thread happened before January 2015.

On February 22nd, 2017, Imgur^[5] user GiveMeDemCookies posted a screenshot of an image macro posted to an unknown webpage titled, "When both of you are starting new careers," showing the photo of Vargas and her boyfriend next to the images of her video thumbnail, captioned, "Bruh exact outfit and everything," garnering over 900 upvotes and 66,000 views in eight years.

On February 23rd, the @worldstar X^[6] page posted the raw image macro, garnering over 8,200 likes in the same span of time.

On October 23rd, 2021, a now-deleted Redditor posted a Those Who Know meme to the /r/HolUp^[7] subreddit about the incident, garnering over 16,000 upvotes in four years.

On October 28th, 2022, X^[8] user @BarryOnHere posted the photo of Vargas and her boyfriend, writing, "Tom Brady," garnering over 12,000 likes in three years. The post references rumors that NFL star Tom Brady's ex, Gisele Bündchen, cheated on him, which she denies.^[9]

On May 10th, 2024, the Military Grade Stupidity Facebook^[10] meme page posted the image of Vargas and her boyfriend with no context, writing, "To all the military spouses out there: you are appreciated, you are valued, and you are loved. Happy Military Spouse Appreciation Day!" garnering over 4,500 reactions in a year.

On April 28th, 2025, Redditor u/clockworkittens posted a meme using the photo to the /r/ExplainTheJoke^[11] subreddit, garnering over 7,100 upvotes in four months.

On August 18th, X^[12] user @ManMilk2 posted a version of the meme that gained over 1,400 likes in a day.
