She Got Hips is a dance trend that became popular on TikTok in Late June 2020 set to the 2020 song "TKN" by Rosalia and Travis Scott.[1] The dance, started by TikToker retroconverse and popularized by Charli D'Amelio, involves exaggerated hip movements and often features a bystander reacting to the movements of the dancer.
Origin
On June 19th, 2020, TikToker retroconverse uploaded a dance she created set to the sound clip "TKN – ROSALÍA & Travis Scott" (shown below). The video gained over 129,300 likes in 13 days.

Spread
On June 27th, 2020, popular TikToker Charli D'Amelio uploaded a video of herself performing retroconverse's dance (shown below, left). The video garnered over 5.2 million likes in five days. On June 30th, TikToker jordynjones uploaded a video of herself doing the dance with someone behind her watching and reacting (shown below, center). The video accumulated over 2.5 million likes in two days. The next day, TikToker mackenzieziegler uploaded their variation that received over 2.9 million likes in a day (shown below, right).
