Shweta Is Live refers to a viral video of leaked audio from a video chat call in which a student named Shweta disclosed personal information with her class while unaware that her mic was active. Following the spread of the video, many online began posting memes encouraging Shweta to mute her mic.
Origin
On February 16th, 2021, Twitter user @callmesanyam tweeted audio of the call. The post received more than 220,000 views, 8,600 likes and 3,000 retweets in less than three days (shown below).

Shweta: "He called me, and we were talking, and then we started talking about her. He said that he's really possessive about his girlfriend."
Others on the call: "Shweta! Switch off your mic! Shweta, your mic is on."
Shweta – "He said he loves her a lot. You know, like, when people go crazy over someone. It was like that. Then he said that the chick was using him, and he didn't even know. Actually, he knew, but still stayed with her. The thing is, the dude was so crazy over her, that he stayed with her despite her being a sex addict."

Shweta: "Like you know when somebody is so attracted to somebody with all their feelings and everything? How do I explain his obsession to you? So basically the guy gave in to the girl's demands, and they started having sex every single time they met. You know, Radhika, no guy ever divulges so much about themselves. This guy told me every single secret of his. He told me that he hadn't even shared these secrets with his own best friend"

On February 17th, 2021, YouTuber The Late Night Show With Patel published the full audio of the Shweta call, entitled "Shweta Is Live." Within two days, the video received more than 1 million views before removal. Reports state that Shweta divulged personal information about a man as other students pleaded with her to mute her mic.[1]
Following the video's release, many on Twitter began posting memes encouraging Shweta to mute her mic. For example, on February 17th, 2021, Twitter user @CutestFunniest posted[2] a Dude With Sign meme that says, "Shwetaaa your mic is on Shwetaaa." The post received more than 4,100 likes and 530 retweets (shown below, left).
Throughout the day, Shweta was a trending work on Twitter, in a meme event similar the Zoom Cat Lawyer. Others posted memes, both in English and Hindi, about Shweta, reacting with image macros memes (examples below, center and right).
