I advised him to: - be there by 7:45 to breathe, settle in, - to set himself up for success, - to sharpen his pencils, - turn off his phone. But he left 30 minutes later than I suggested. And halfway through the test? A text came in. His phone buzzed, so he got kicked out. Now he'll wait 2 months to retake it. Here's the kicker: I could've micromanaged every detail. Instead, I stepped back. Let him figure it out. Why? Because leadership isn't always about control. Sometimes, it's about holding space. It's about letting others make choices (even bad ones), so they can own the consequences and learn. Did it hurt to watch? Oh yes. Was it necessary? Absolutely. Next time? He'll do better. P.S. Do you let people learn from their mistakes?

This is my last Christmas without a kid... Next year, I'll be a mam Something I NEVER thought i'd be saying. And yes, she was planned which is funny considering I used to call myself the least maternal person on the planet. Motherhood? Not for me. Kids??! Bleerrghhhhh Going from that to being SO excited to be a mother has definitely been THE most unexpected transformation to happen since being on my inner healing/ recovery journey these last few years. It's crazy how healing from your trauma and the past can quite literally rewrite your entire story haha.... In 10 years time I'll have more money than 99% of people even if I don't acheive more than a 100k per year income (which I will). The people who look like they're winning are actually losing, some can't even drive their fancy car because they can't afford the new tyres, fuel, servicing etc. Don't be a degenerate, sacrifice luxury items now so you can live a wealthy life later.
