Ski is a brand of yogurt (yoghurt) by Nestle. They rose to internet frame with a commercial from 1995 in Australia advertising their yogurt featuring a talking spoon. The commercial is regarded as creepy due to the CGI animation of the face on the spoon, and also as sexual due to him saying “So thick, smooth, oh and creamy!”
Origin
The commercial aired in Australia in the summer of 1995 to advertise the flavors Divine and D’Light. And was posted to YouTube in 2012 by DrFrankenskippy. Who helped create the commercial at the time.
The 2012 upload of the commercial from the time was reposted on TikTok from YouTube. This is where the memes started.
Spread
It has spawned internet memes and many other reposts. Especially on TikTok where it is the most famous.
