Stop! Don't Kill Me! refers to a viral video of gameplay from the battle royale video game Call of Duty: Warzone in which a player pleads for his life in voice chat before being killed by another player with a shotgun. Online, video caption memes based on the video have been used to reference murders, both literal and metaphorical.
Origin
On November 21st, 2022, X[1] / Twitter user @itsHunterTV posted a Call of Duty: Warzone gameplay clip in which a player performs a finishing move with a shotgun on an opponent, who pleads for his life in proximity chat, begging them to stop. The video (shown below) received over 17,000 reposts and 151,000 likes in one year.

Spread
On November 21st, 2022, X[2] user @spawnpeeking_ posted a Slow Motion Gun Animation meme referencing the video that received over 220 reposts and 4,900 likes in one year.
On December 28th, TikTok[3] user tobiastinkle posted the earliest found caption meme based on the format, with the upload failing to get significant traction (shown below).

On January 18th, 2023, X[4] user @Bakenran posted the clip to TikTok along with a similar clip from Sea of Thieves, praising the incidental voice acting in both videos. The post (shown below) received over 42,000 reposts and 195,000 likes in one year.

The video saw more use as a video caption meme on X and TikTok, being used to reference murder, both literal and metaphorical. For example, on April 30th, 2023, X[5] user @midsmoker34 posted a meme about Nintendo that received over 1,100 reposts and 11,000 likes in eight months (shown below).
