Fluffy Hugs

So, this is another old render of mine, which I had to hand to a friend to render for me since my computer would seize up trying to render more than one fluffy character at a time (which I'm really hoping I can find a way to optimize them). Still, least the end result made it look cute, especially with the tail of the pokesona I use poking out from between the forearms of the zeraora.

Poking a City

So, I recently got into Blender earlier this month, or at least more than my last attempt this year, with the help of a friend teaching me about posing the models, sculpting landscapes, etc. While I do want to get around and make models instead of just simply posing them, gotta take baby steps first.

Anyway, the aforementioned friend managed to nab a model of the pokemon Zeraora and tweaked it a bit, namely giving the bugger a lotta fluff and smoothing it out as well. This setup was the second of which I did with it, and while I could have rendered it myself, my brain forgot how to apply textures to the ground and thus had to hand this over to my friend to finish up on it. The amount of trees was not something I was originally planning, since render times would have spiked due to the amount that he went with (close to a million of them), but lo and behold, he carried it out. I finished this shot by editing the eyes to where the electric kitty is glancing down instead of its default eye positions, though I'm fairly shoddy compared to most professional folks out there.
