The Three-Body Problem is a science-fiction novel by Chinese author Cixin Liu, part of a trilogy titled Remembrance of Earth's Past consisting of three novels, the sequels being titled The Dark Forest and Death's End. The Three-Body Problem and its sequels received an English translation between the years 2014 and 2016 and received widespread acclaim among the international science-fiction community, with praise from figures such as American author George R. R. Martin or former US president Barrack Obama.
The Three-Body Problem received several adaptations both fan-made and official, notably including a Tencent Video television series, an upcoming Netflix adaptation, and a fan-made turned official production in the video game Minecraft.
