That is a Disgrace refers to a series of images and remixes of British Conservative Party politician, Elizabeth 'Liz' Truss speaking at the 2014 Conservative Party conference reacting badly to a situation which she brands something as a disgrace. Liz Truss is aware of the meme and referred to it on Twitter.

Origin

At the 2014 Conservative Party conference, Liz Truss made a keynote speech discussing the work she was doing as the Minister of Food and Rural Affairs, a title she held from 2014 until 2016. In the keynote speech she mentioned that the government were importing only two thirds of British cheese, something she claimed was a 'disgrace'.

Spread

After making the speech, it was was widely mocked on social media and on the satirical current affairs programme Have I Got News for You?. YouTube user SungSpeeches created and uploaded a remix of her conference speech mixing up and auto-tuning it into a song and the video gained over 4,500 views. Another YouTube user James Rice uploaded a video of Liz Truss lip syncing to Schoolboys in Disgrace by English band, The Kinks.
