That's the Cutest Fucking Thing I've Ever Seen refers to a clip of Twitch streamer negaoryx playing The Last of Us. After a particularly harrowing scene which leaves the streamer emotionally distraught, a bunny appears on screen, to which negaoryx says "That's the cutest fucking thing I've ever seen." The bunny is then struck with an arrow, causing her to shriek. The clip became an exploitable after people added different footage to the clip.

Origin

On January 8th, 2019, while streaming The Last of Us, Twitch streamer negaoryx grew emotional after a dramatic moment of the story.^[1] After the harrowing scene, a bunny appears on screen to which she says "That's the cutest fucking thing I've ever seen." An arrow then strikes the bunny, causing negaoryx to shriek. The clip was clipped by BrianTwitch (shown below).

Spread

The clip was posted to YouTube on January 9th by user Tumleren and gained over 430,000 views.^[2] He also posted it to /r/youtubehaiku,^[3] where it gained over 24,000 points. On January 11th, it was included in a compilation titled "10 Perfectly Timed Twitch Moments" posted by Viction (shown below). The compilation gained over 1.4 million views.

Remixes of the clip began growing popular on /r/youtubehaiku as well. For example, a post by DerFelix gained over 8,200 points in the subreddit^[4] (shown below, left). Another by Redditor sevn_2 gained over 2,400 points (shown below, right).

On YouTube, other popular edits include a Simpsons remix of the scene posted by WATZON that gained over 29,000 views (shown below, left) and a Big Mouth Screech edit by Paul Wil slap u that gained over 11,000 views (shown below, right)
