This Generation Don't Fight Like Real Men Anymore refers to a viral TikTok trend in which people recreate the fight scenes in early 1900s Holywood movies alongside "The Entertainer" piano rag. The trend started in February 2024, being mostly shared on TikTok and YouTube.
Origin
On October 10th, 2023, TikTok[1] user @lwc960 uploaded a cover of the 1902 piano rag "The Entertainer." The video (shown below, left) amassed roughly 8.8 million plays and 1.5 million likes in six months. On February 2nd, 2024, TikTok[2] user @kyb0yyy posted a skit video pretending to be in a bar fight and @lwc960's "The Entertainer" cover started to play so he changed his stance to look similar to old Hollywood fight scenes. The video (shown below, right) amassed more than 1 million plays and 249,000 likes in a month.

Throughout February 2024, videos using @lwc960's "The Entertainer" cover started to use the overlay text "This Generation Don't Fight Like Real Men Anymore," to recreate the old Hollywood bar fight scenes. For instance, on February 19th, 2024, TikTok[3] user @henry.wl posted a video recreating the bar fight movements (shown below, left), which amassed over 21 million plays and 5 million likes in a month. On March 2nd, 2024, TikTok[4] user @fakinbish posted a similar video (shown below, right), amassing more than 7 million plays and 1.8 million likes in four days.
