On March 10th, 2011, Reddit user ShakeDatBear made an IAmA (I Am A) request of Daniel Tosh here. Several hours later, a member of the Tosh.0 staff created a post with a picture of Daniel's response to the request.

Shortly thereafter, Reddit user Stregano commented on the post saying, "Am I the only one that noticed that he left us open to photoshop whatever we wanted on that huge white card?".

Instantly, users started putting in their own words in place of Daniel Tosh's. All of that led to user aBorat creating a text generator for the blanked out card in Tosh's hand, called Tosh Said.
