What Should We Fuckin' Dah is a viral Vine video posted by Freeman Claridge in November 2013 having a conversation with himself about what to do today in a comical voice. The video's audio spread to TikTok in early 2019 where it accumulated lipsync videos and later in June 2020 was used in animal videos.
Origin
On November 22nd, 2013, Vine[1] user Freeman Claridge posted the original video of the short comical conversation which received over 3.2 million loops, 242,000 likes and 221,800 revines in seven years. Though the original video does not load on the platform, a copy was reuploaded by Viner Kyron Hamilton on April 6th, 2014 (shown below).
Spread
In December 2014, Twitter[2] users began to quote the video in tweets and in 2019 the audio was added to TikTok by user gemtollerfield. On October 22nd, 2019, TikToker dezmachado lipsyncing to the audio and gained over 61,700 likes in a year. On June 17th, 2020, TikToker marieriksmoen added the audio to a video of two ducks walking and accumulated over 700,000 likes in a month (shown below, center). On July 30th, TikTikTok nutshellanimations posted an original animation for the sound and acquired over 1.1 million likes in two weeks (shown below, right).
