This "meme" originated in the 1995 animated short, "The Spirit of Christmas" (Which was a precursor to the hit television series South Park). It had the boys asking what Brian Boitano, famous olympic skater, what he would do to solve the conflict between Santa and Jesus.

It would later become a song included in South Park:BLU.
