Yelling Creature is a video that, while initially unknown, became the subject of various video remixes in recent years.

Origin

The video was first uploaded to YouTube on October 30, 2006 by creator Rob Herman, who makes other horror shorts. The six second long video depicts a realistic looking creature in what appears to be an empty room. He screams "No!" twice in a distorted voice before the video ends.

As of 2018, the video has over one million views.

Spread

As stated above, the video wasn't that popular when it first came out. In spite of this, the creator made some self parodies of the video, one that's Christmas themed, and another with the creature's face inserted on a pumpkin.

Finally, other users started making videos based on it. User scarfboyboyboy uploaded a G Major version of the video, gaining 22K views. Even more recently, a video synching the creature's vocals to Pumped Up Kicks, created by Ogelspider, was released in 2017, and received 5.7K views.
