The golden age of Adam Sandler being a normal guy continued yesterday after video of the Uncut Gems actor playing pickup basketball in Long Island spread around Twitter.

Amidst a sea of shirtless buff guys, Sandler sticks out in the classic Sandler outfit: oversized polo, baggy basketball shorts and sneakers. Still, he's clearly holding his own on the court, directing the offense and finding the open man (and maybe doing a bit of traveling, but that's beside the point). Unfortunately for Sandler and much to the delight of Twitter users, his teammates can't hit a shot to save their lives.

As the videos shared by basketball reporter Anthony Puccio spread around Twitter, jokesters yukked it up over the pair of bricks fired off by his teammates.

Unfortunately, we can't know if anyone other than Sandler could hit a shot that day, but hopefully, the video will help an NBA team scout Sandler. The Knicks could always use a decent backup point guard.
