Last Friday on New Year's Eve, television icon Betty White, known for her role as Rose Nylund on The Golden Girls, multiple unforgettable television cameos and iconic runs as a game show panelist, passed away at the age of 99, two weeks before her 100th birthday.

White was a star among stars in Hollywood, earning the respect and admiration of seemingly every actor she worked with. She was known as The First Lady of Television due to her extensive work behind the camera, including being the first woman to produce a television sitcom. She was a staple of classic game shows such as Password, Match Game, Hollywood Squares and others had starring turns in The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Golden Girls and Hot In Cleveland. Multiple former co-stars paid loving tribute to her on social media after news of her passing hit Twitter.
