'Dark Brandon' Mysteriously Joins Truth Social, And The Only Account He's Following Is Donald Trump
Dark Brandon has curiously opened an account on Truth Social and is posting up a storm. Well, it's not officially Dark Brandon himself, but the Biden-Harris HQ, which has used a laser-eyed photo of President Joe Biden as its profile picture.
After one day of activity, the account has nearly 15,000 followers and is following exactly one other user: former President Donald Trump himself.
The account opened with a post welcoming converts, and since then has mostly devoted itself to posting videos and articles about other Republicans like Ron DeSantis criticizing Trump.
The move came on the same day that Donald Trump was issued a narrow gag order by a judge in his Washington, D.C. election subversion case. The former President is prohibited from attacking or doxxing witnesses, prosecutors and court staff online.
Trump already has a gag order in Georgia because earlier this year, he posted false accusations about a judge's clerk being Chuck Schumer's girlfriend and reportedly put her safety at risk, leading the judge to order him not to post about court employees. The D.C. order also comes after Trump called Special Counsel Jack Smith a "thug."
Supporters of the former President claim that these gag orders unfairly restrict Trump's free speech, while opponents say that he is attempting to intimidate people online, implicitly encouraging his followers to dox them.
Many supporters of Joe Biden applauded the timing of Dark Brandon's arrival on Truth Social, which happened shortly after the D.C. gag order was announced.
Trump, meanwhile, has yet to comment on the Biden team's trolling attempt. His feed is full of Truths obsessively sharing his poll numbers and complaining about the various criminal and civil trials he is currently involved in.
Interspersed with ads for switchblade knives and a two-minute diet trick endorsed by Chuck Norris, it remains to be seen if the former President's dozens of daily Truths will eventually mention his newest follower.
